The Adventist CHIP Association cordially invites all who have a passion for health ministry to attend the 8th Annual CHIP Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota from September 19-23, 2007. At the Summit you will be inspired by world-class scientific presenters in the field of lifestyle medicine as well as outstanding inspirational speakers and practical leadership training that will motivate and equip you to share our life-changing health message. Basic Leadership Workshop—Wednesday/Thursday:
- For new leaders and team members
- Wednesday 3:00 pm through Thursday 4:30 pm
- A prerequisite to conducting a quality, public CHIP program
- Equips church teams for effective health ministry
Advanced Leadership Workshop—Wednesday/Thursday:
- For veteran CHIP leaders and anyone not registered in the Basic Leadership Workshop
- Wednesday 7:00 pm through Thursday 4:30 pm
- Speakers include:

- Dr. Dick Wynn—The "R" Factors of Leadership
- Heather Leno—Recipe Makeovers
- Dr. Hans Diehl—Leadership Exchange
Opening Session—Thursday: For All Attendees: Begins Thursday at 7:00 pm with Keynote Speaker, Dr. Walter Willett, renowned as a professor of Nutrition and Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Willett ranks as the most cited nutritionist worldwide and is among the five most cited authors in clinical science.
Scientific Sessions—Thursday/Friday: Begins Thursday at 4:45 pm and continues to Friday at 5:15 pm. Scientific presentations will be provided by eight of the nation's top speakers bringing you the latest information on lifestyle medicine. Click here to learn more about the scientific speakers

Worship Services—Friday/Sabbath: Begins Friday evening at 7:00 pm and continues through Sabbath evening at 9:00 pm. Outstanding inspirational speakers including Elder Don Mackintosh and Dr. Neil Nedley, John Bradshaw and Conference President Tom Lemon. Beautiful music will uplift and inspire.
Closing Session—Sunday: From 9:00—11:00 am with John Bradshaw from Amazing Facts and Neil Nedley, MD of Nedley Health Solutions. Wrap-up concludes the Summit at 11:00 am.
Area Attractions— Come early or stay late to enjoy all that Minneapolis has to offer! Enjoy Chain of Lakes where you can walk on lakeside paths for exercise and relaxation or canoe for nearly two miles from Lake Calhoun to Brownie Lake. Visit Mall of America, Downtown Minneapolis, the Metrodome, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, museums, many walking trails, beautiful lakes, and more.
